Example:

Utsukushii aozora o aoide mita.
美しい青空を仰いで見た。

Translation:

I looked up at the beautiful blue sky.

Notes:

"Ao" also could mean "green" depending on the context. Example: aona (greens), aoshingou (green light)
When "ao" is put before certain words, it could mean "young" or "immature." Example: aokusai (inexperienced), aonisai (youth, novice).
