The FIFA 2002 World Cup is
being held in Asia for first time and is co-hosted by Korea and Japan. Previous
World Cups had only one host country, so this may be the beginning of a new
trend.
Each country has spent
years preparing and has built some of the most incredible stadiums in the world
especially for this event. A total of 20 stadiums (10 per country) will be
hosting games.
