Notes

"Okiru (起きる)" is an intransitive verb (jidoushi) and "okosu (起こす)" is a transitive verb (tadoushi). The intransitive verb expresses a solo action, but the transitive verb is for an action that will been done by someone else. "Wake me up at seven" is "Shichi-ji ni okoshite (kudasai)".
