This is another "Learn from a Story" lesson on my site. A story is a good resource to learn grammar and vocabulary. In this lesson I will introduce "Match Girl (Matchi-uri no Shoujo)" by Hans Christian Andersen, in Japanese. If you are interested in another story, click this link to read "Rainbow Bird (Niji no Tori)."

Hi,
could you also please provide versions of the stories which use Japanese characters (i.e. kanji + kana)? I’m approaching an intermediate level and really enjoy translating from original Japanese.
